Robert Joseph Babione, Jr. went home to his Lord and Savior on Thursday, February 7, 2019. He was 58 years old. Robert was born on December 12, 1960 in Boynton Beach, Florida; the firstborn son of Robert J. and Helen Babione of Boca Raton. He graduated from Boca Raton High School where he was actively involved in Sea Scouts. Robert worked in the telephone communications industry for several years until he started his own business, Babione Telecom. He enjoyed his work until his health deteriorated; but he continued life with courage and a positive attitude. He never complained but instead was always ready with a kind word, a listening ear, and an offer to help at any time.
Robert was preceded in death by his father, Robert, Sr. and his sister, Mary Veccia. He was a devoted husband to Susan Wise Babione for 35 years and a loving father to Cathy, Robert T. and Cindy Babione; and a proud grandpa to his precious granddaughters Alexia and Savanna. Bob is also survived by his mother, Helen, and his siblings Kathryn, Phyllis, Ashley, Paul and Jean. Robert was a kind and gentle spirit who is now safely home in God’s heavenly kingdom.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, February 10th from 2:00-6:00pm at Babione Funeral Home with a funeral service at 4:00pm.
