Louis was born in Greenwich, CT on the eighteenth of March, 1937 to the late Louis J. and Wilma Skorvanek Buszta. He graduated from Greenwich High School in 1955 . On July 13th, 1978 he married Elizabeth Angelo DiMarco.
Surviving are his loving wife of 40 years, Elizabeth DiMarco Buszta; four step-sons, Alfred DiMarco, Joseph DiMarco, Thomas (Kim) DiMarco, Vincent (Kathy) DiMarco, brother Ron (Joan) Buszta and sister Janice Buszta as well as additional family and extended family.
Louis learned carpentry and dry wall installation from an uncle, working with him in house construction for a number of years, later partnering with his wife Elizabeth and applying those skills in her interior decorating business. His mother had a catering business and from her Lou learned to cook and entertain from an early age; both of which he enjoyed and excelled at throughout the rest of his life. He was an avid reader and a history buff, particularly interested in that of America, with a keen focus on The Civil War and WWII, both of which he studied in detail, often visiting historical locations when on vacation. He was also an avid golfer and gin rummy player, with a love of movies and movie trivia. Louis, being jovial and outgoing, provided his family and friends with many laughs and was a loving partner to Elizabeth. He attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Southport, NC.
A Mass will be celebrated at two o’clock in the afternoon on Tuesday the twenty third of October 2018 in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Southport, NC.
