Annette is preceded in death by her mother, Althea Willetts Caton, her father, Jack Caton Sr and his wife Elouise A Caton; her son, Larry Joel Kye; her brother, Mack Caton.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Robert (Dunk) Kye of the home; her daughter, Shelley Kye; her granddaughters, Katelyn Burton and Kourtney B Orahood (Brad); great-grandson, Colton Orahood of Winnabow; brother, J.M. Caton Jr (Geniel) of Bolivia; her sister, Darlene Fox (Rick) of Virginia; sister in-law, Rhonda Caton (Mack) of Bolivia; along with several nieces and nephews.
Annette was an active member of the Winnabow Vol Fire Dept. for many years. She was a rural route mail carrier out of the Bolivia Post Office for twenty six years. Annette was a member and G.A. leader for both Mill Creek Baptist and Town Creek Baptist Churches. In her retirement she loved to travel overseas, ride the roads with Robert in the rollback and spending time with family and friends.
Services will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at one o’clock in the afternoon at Towns Creek Baptist Church. Pastor Vic Potter and Pastor Tyson Schoch officiating. Graveside will follow at New Hope Presbyterian Church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church.
Pallbearers will be members of the Winnabow Vol Fire Dept.
In lieu of flowers family requests that donations be made to the Winnabow Vol. Fire Dept. and/or New Hope Presbyterian Church, cemetery fund, PO Box 160, Winnabow , NC 28479, in her name.
