Mitchell A. Savage, 63, of Supply died Wednesday at Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Life care Center in Whiteville. Mr. Savage was born in Bladen County on March 23, 1955 and was the son of the late James Adolph Savage and Athleen Hayes Savage. He owned and operated Savage Rock and Tile and was an avid pool player and a member of the APA Pool League CCAPA Group. He coached Dixie Youth Baseball and was a R.A. Counselor at Trinity Baptist Church in Whiteville. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a brother, Gary Savage. He is survived by Jackie Savage; significant other, Shirley Savage; daughters, Michelle Register and husband Matthew of Supply, Lynn Coggins and husband Billy of Supply; three sons, Wesley Davis and wife Teresa of Ward, SC, Gary Davis and wife Beth of Leesville, SC, Daniel Cody and wife Melisa of Stanley, NC; 17 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. A celebration of life service will be held Saturday August 4, 2018 at five o’clock in the evening at White Funeral and Cremation Service Chapel, 603 Ocean Highway, Bolivia with Reverend Ronald Gaskins officiating. Friends are invited to a time of visitation with the family on Friday evening from six o’clock until nine o’clock at the home located at 2525 Bessemer Dr., Supply.
