"Nonoy," the Patriarch of the Clemente family of Queen of Peace Road and Kitma of Baguio City, and San Diego, CA, joined his Creator on January 7, 2021.
Born on August 12, 1923, to Jose and Maxima Clemente. He was preceded in death by his wife, Leona; and son, Bernardo Jr.
He is survived by children: Fe, Ric, Tony, Ed, George, Ramon, Alex, Wilma, Lourdes, Leo, Raul, and Mary. Nine daughters/sons-in-law, 32 grandkids, 27 great-grandkids, and four great-great grandkids.
He leaves behind the legacy of being able to put all his 13 children thru college through strict discipline, hard work, perseverance, and a lot of tough love.
Outside of his family, he had a deep love for automobiles, trucks, and heavy equipment. He spent most of his working days operating, repairing, and tinkering with them. He was one of the first Peterbilt truck drivers of the Philex Mines in Tuba, Benguet. He worked at Kyocera when he moved to San Diego, CA., in 1981 and retired in 1990.
His remains have been cremated and the church services deferred until August 12, 2021, where his ashes will be interred with his wife, Leona.
