I deeply miss your  presence and will forever keep your legacy of love, and kindness.  For now is goodbye, but one thing is for sure  I’ll see you again….I’ll see  you in glory someday.

My deepest condolences to the Magyawi Family as they navigate through the pain of losing Brother Jhim. His presence brought light and joy into many lives. 

Brother Jhim and his family were among the first members who were present during the initial IBBC Church Anniversary some 30 years ago. 

The Lord was very important and very real to him. He loved coming to church. A long time church brother, he was supportive even since the building was being built. Whenever there was work or repair needed to be done, Brother Jhim was always ready and willing to help out.

He was an expert in his field of work. One time, right after his surgery,  Brother Reggie approached him regarding the problem of a clogged air conditioner. The technician they hired couldn’t fix it. Brother Jhim suggested to just use suction and he was right on target! Problem solved.

He was quiet and timid, didn’t talk much, but he liked to share jokes always and make everyone laugh.

During his visits to the hospital, Brother Jhim was always untiringly optimistic. Never once did he ever doubt that he would recover, return home, and return to church. And after his first operation, Sister Tess ran into him at the church parking lot. She asked how he is and he answered, “See, I’m still alive!” And before he went to his last surgery, he also said, “I will be back!”

It is the hardest thing in the world to say goodbye, but there is also great joy in knowing that it’s really only goodbye for now. Just for a little while.

These past few days have been beyond difficult especially for the Magyawi family, and on behalf of everyone, please know that we’re praying for you.

There are no words to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of Jhim. 
I pray for his eternal peace in heaven and blessings for my beloved friend Gemma and for the rest his family.

2 Corinthians chapter 1

V4 “Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.”

 V5 “For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ. “

Our deepest sympathy to the bereaved family members and loved ones of our Bro. Jhim.  Norman and I have known him for almost 20 years now.

Jhim is a quiet person, unassuming, and always willing to help.

Bro. Jhim loves to cook, too.  My favorite dish and would once in a while request him to cook for me was the “chicken feet adobo.”

I know how difficult it is to have a loss in the family. It is only by His grace that we can carry on or move on. 

May the Lord’s peace and comfort fill each one’s heart and looking forward to that blessed hope that one day, we will all be reunited in heaven when the rapture takes place.

I never liked the idea that babies grow up one day. That’s why no matter how older you get, I always like to think that you are still my baby brother.
People will choose to stay with you only on good times but this sister will always remain with you.
