Clyde Barron, 83, of Belmont, died Sunday, May 1, 2011 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was born May 17, 1927 to Henry and Belle Aldridge Barron. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WW II and was retired from Wrangler Manufacturing Company in Belmont.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Terry Garrett officating. Burial will be in the East Prentiss Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at the funeral home and until service time on Wednesday.
He is survived by one son, Herschel (Paulette) Barron of Corinth; one sister, Johnnie Fay Palmer of Decatur, AL; one brother, Joe Barron of Belmont; and one grandson, Nick Barron of Tupelo.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Alice Barron; his parents; three sisters, Annie May Barron, Louise Smith, and Lorrine Kidd; four brothers, Sherman Barron, Thurman Barron, Henry Barron, Jr., and Travis Barron.
