Annie Mary Hall
October 25, 1929 – March 14, 2020
It has been a tough couple of days for the Halls. Our mom Annie Hall passed away over the weekend. Hayden and I wanted to let you know how proud we are of our mom for teaching us how to live our lives, to be caring people and to strive to be the best at anything we do.
She saw the world, taught in Japan, was a teacher in Mercer Island public schools for over 30 years and lived out her dream of retiring in Ghana West Africa where she started a Computer School. She was a long time Rotarian, loved helping others and lived in Ghana for almost 20 years.
She always was our biggest fans when it came to our dreams too. Whether Hayden's UW band experience, DJ business, plus following her footsteps in teaching or me with playing basketball, being my soccer coach or hydroplane racing, she always said "you can do anything if you put your mind to it."
I am so proud of my brother Hayden because he graciously sacrificed so much to care for mom over the last 6 years, and did an amazing job.
Although we will miss her very much, she told us several times growing up don't keep me hanging on. She passed away peacefully and just as with everything, exactly how she planned it. We love you mom!
