Carmelia Lovegrove Adams, 86, a resident of Bowie, died May 11 at her residence. She was born Nov. 3, 1925, in England, to the late Henry J. and Rose C.G. Lovegrove. She was preceded in death by her son, Carl Cramer; and brother, John Lovegrove. She is survived by her son, Frank I. Adams of Bowie; sister, Scyl Dann; three grandchildren, Cort Bossert, Holly Miller and Eric Cramer; great-granddaughter, Cammille Rose Miller; and daughter-in-law, Sheila Harvey and husband Scott. All services are private. Arrangements handled by the Robert E. Evans Funeral Home in Bowie. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association .
