I am still in shock of your passing! We called each other cousins due to our familial relationships and how we grew. We attended St. John’s and UMD together. In recent years, we bumped into each other at the grocery store or movies. Despite our distance, you were still my family. I have various memories of you but the one I spoke of shortly before your passing stands out most. We were getting lunch between classes in Stamp student Union. I was fighting bronchitis and on meds but refused to miss class. As we were all chilling, I went to get up and got really dizzy. You caught me and arranged for some friends to get their car and drive me back to my dorm. You looked out for me always and took care of those you cared for. I will miss your big bear hugs and smiling face. You were always happy and smiling despite what was going on. Rest well!
Love always!

Patrick and I went to high school and college together. We've been friends almost thirty years. I can't believe we have to say goodbye to such a funny and witty father, husband and friend. Patrick thank you for all the years of laughter and one liners. I love you!

On behalf of his graduating High Point High School, we are all deeply saddened by the loss of Patrick and we are praying for the Stewart Family.

Christine, Elana and Ethan, if you all need anything, please let us know. Ronnyne

I only got to know Patrick for about 2 years, but he was ALWAYS smiling. The smile would get even bigger when I asked about his little ones. He was the IT person in our office and just a really nice, quiet person. We worked on different sides of the floor, so I only chatted with him when we needed his expertise, or about his kids. I always knew, he would fix whatever the issue.. fast and correctly. His first year, he and I were the only ones in costume on Halloween. He was a colonial pirate, with the eye patch, and black shoes with big silver buckles to my Crayola Crayon box.

My sincere condolences to his family. He was a terrific person to leave so young.
