Linda Wensel

Born in Barto, she was a daughter of the late Eva (Rhoads) and Howard Bender.

She was employed by the Great American Knitting Mill in different departments and as a floor lady for Jennifer Ann. Linda worked most recently as an associate at Walmart in Pottstown.

Linda was a member of St. Joseph’s Hill Lutheran Church, 244 Koch Rd. Boyertown, PA. 19512.

She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliaries at Friendship Hook and Ladder Co., Bally Fire Company and Bechtelsville Fire Company.

In addition to her husband, Linda is survived by her son, Michael B., husband of Kimberly Y. Wensel, of Barto, and her grandchildren, Lauren N. and Meghan O. Wensel, both at home; her brother and sister-in-law, Herbert and Sandra Bender, of Bechtelsville; her sister, Diane Bender, of Boyertown; and her brother and sister-in-law, Benjamin and Linda Puzauskas, of Gilbertsville, along with many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her son, Scott T. Wensel; her brother, Norman Bender; and her sisters, Mabel Painter, Dorothy Eisenhard and Elva Smith.

Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph’s Hill Lutheran Church on Friday, December 28, 2018 at 11:00 AM.

Family and friends may call Friday at church from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.

Interment will be in Hill Church Cemetery.
