Robert S. Dillman Jr.

Robert S. Dillman Jr., 83, of Schwenksville passed away on March 25. From Pittsford, New York, he was the son of the late Imelda (Suhr) and Robert S. Dillman Sr., and the loving husband of Judith E. (Dadson) Dillman.

Robert attained the rank of Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, where he served as an aircraft mechanic and helicopter crew chief during the Korean War era. After his service, he worked as a Regional Supervisor with the Brown Shoe Company in St. Louis, Missouri. Robert was a member of the VFW Post in Red Hill, an avid fisherman and hunter, and a Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

In addition to his wife, Judith, Robert is survived by two daughters, Mary (Phillip) Lieder and Tara (Joseph) Giunta; a son, Robert S. (Jill) Dillman III; six grandchildren, Jessica Giunta, Gavin Dillman, Joey Giunta, Jaime Giunta, Chase Dillman, and Paige Dillman; a sister, Geraldine (Tom) Sippel; and by several nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law.

Services will be held privately on Saturday March 31, at Limerick Garden of Memories. Flowers are welcome, or donations may be made in Robert’s memory to your local Humane Society.
