I will miss you Jano. You were like an uncle to me. You were one of the most noble and simplest human beings out there. I admired you and you were an inspiration. You were a little angel here on earth now you’re up in heaven being a bigger angel watching over all of us. I love you and you’ll always be in my heart and I’ll cherish all the memories you and I had <3

Besides metting Alex at Holy Trinity Church in Hackensack,NJ.the best memories from Alex ,from many, was when He came to see me at bed side at the Hackensack Hospital, after my brain surgery;he pray for me and pray together for my health, and that shows the way he was, friendly and caring.

My wife, Ellen and I, Michael Fedida were saddened to hear of the loss of our dear friend, Alex. We always enjoyed his visits to the pharmacy in Teaneck and for sharing his daughters with us for so many years as outstanding young ladies who served our customers so well. Alex was a gentle soul and always positive and upbeat in light of all the adversity in his life. He loved his family and was very devoted to them. We will miss him very much and will always treasure his memory. May he rest in peace.
Sincerely,
Ellen and Michael Fedida

As a child I remember my Tio Jano being responsible for driving us around the neighborhood in Teaneck NJ to see all the decorated houses on Christmas Eve. He was killing time with a car load of kids while the other adults put out the presents. So we believed that we missed seeing Santa because he drove so slow 🤓
I also remember him imitating the sounds of the trucks breaks when he put the car in park.
As an adult I have countless memories of late nights of us playing dominos or cards till the wee hours of the morning. Him clanking the dominos or tapping his feet under the table. We are sure going to miss all his sounds and comments. Our gatherings will continue to happen as we always get together but I know his presence will be missed 🙁
But I imagine him in heaven with my cousins Alex and Jessica, my grandparents, Derek, Tio Eddie....etc. I think heaven is equally as fun and full of family get togethers just like here in this world. Enjoy the afterworld Tio Jano 😘 Love you always , Maria , Víctor and The Lema Tribe
