Elizabeth, “Betty”, as she was known to most friends and family was a loving wife and mother, she met Elwin AKA “Hank” at a Roller Rink in Baltimore while he was serving in the US Coast Guard. That began a life long romance . They married in 1944 and moved to Erie, Pa. which was Hanks home town. Terry was born 1st, 4yrs later Richard and then another 4yrs Michael joined the family. Betty waitressed most of her life in Erie, Hank traveled a lot but that included family as well. They would often visit Baltimore, many of Betty’s Sisters and Brothers lived there. Betty loved to dance and so did Hank, they were members of many of the social and private clubs in the Erie area. Betty and Hank also enjoyed to bowl. Once all three of her boys had joined the Navy and left home, Hank retired and the two of them started a whole new adventure. Living in Maryland, Virginia and finally Florida. They became managers of Villa Del Sol mobile home park where many of their Florida friends lived. Betty found herself alone when Hank passed, after almost 60 years of being together. Her final years were spent in Villa Del Sol playing bingo and various card games, and enjoying her membership with the Red Hatters, or just spending time with friends.
She is survived by her loving children Terry E. DuShole (Robin), Richard H DuShole (Christine), and Michael L DuShole (Angie)
She is preceded in death by her husband Elwin C. DuShole and parents Henry & Catherine Lang.
Graveside Service will be held at 9AM on Wednesday July 17th 2019 at Manasota Memorial Park in the Rotunda, 1221 53rd Ave E, Bradenton, FL 34203. In lieu of flowers please send a donation to your local Humane society or the ASPCA in her name. Robert Toale & Sons Funeral Home is entrusted with final care.
