I grew up with Seymour and Beth living right next door. Both of them always had an open smile and a tale to tell. Seymour was one of the warmest people I ever knew and he will sorley be missed by all who knew him.

Seymour Gullage...

A kind and gentle soul with quick wit and a smile on his face. He came into the Mills family in the late 50's until early 60's. Living with Mom and Dad and the Mills clan as it grew. In early Bramalea he was a constant in my young life. Dad and Seymour worked the BP Gas and Service Station on Bramalea Road and Steeles Avenue in those times.

More recently Seymour and Beth made a point of shopping at our Pet Valu store at BCC. I kept him posted of the goings on in the Mills Family and he would update me on his most recent events and share at least one story every time.

We loved him. He will be missed.
Rest in Peace Seymour

Lori & Mom,
I was saddened to hear of Uncle Seymour’s death.
My fondest memories of him are of when he came to visit in Catalina when I was growing up. He had a great sense of humour and I loved his gravelly voice and boisterous laugh. We spent a lot of fun times eating fried Caplin and laughing around the dining room table at Dad & Moms house.
Later when I moved to Alberta we visited him & Aunt Beth in Brampton on a few different occasions and we would always chat about the Jays!

Lori and Aunt Bonnie,
We are saddened to hear of Uncle Sey’s passing. We know how hard it is to loose a parent and a sibling. Our hearts are with you at this difficult time.
I (Eddie) think back to when Aunt Beth, Uncle Sey and you (Lori) came to Newfoundland, picked me up and drove across the island to Catalina. It brings a smile to my face remembering the infamous roast beef story. We will always remember his boisterous humour and hearty laughter. He will be remembered fondly.

Lori and Yvonne.
You have lost an outstanding father and brother and I a cousin. Back
home in Catalina we always looked forward to his visit, it would be fun time.
He had a great sense of humour. I once needed a job and it was at Dunham- Bush
for 6 months with many thanks to Seymour.
I can see him now coming down the floor a wrench in his hand and a big smile
on face. Rest In Peace Sey.

Rol.

As my Mom's cousin Seymour would visit us regularly. As a teenager I always idolized him. He was cool, always drove a neat car and always teased myself and my friends. He was the one who always kept in touch and had a great sense of humor. I will miss him.

Lori and Aunt Bonnie,
We're so sorry about Uncle Seymour's passing. Our hearts are with you at this sad time.

Our trips to ON always included a stop at Uncle Sey's where he would regale us with tales of his youth and working life - with Aunt Beth chipping in with some of hers - and he would ply us with questions about people and things "back home".

Although his health prevented visits in recent years, he never lost his love of and interest in all things NL. Watching NL news broadcasts daily he was as familiar with our news and weather reporters as we were (as I discovered during one visit when he commented on the wardrobe choices of one!)

We will miss those visits but will treasure the memories.

Love
Maisie and Roy
