Ms. Barnes was my ESE teacher last year for two subjects. She was a fantastic teacher and I enjoyed very much being in her classes. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Dear Barnes family-
My son is a 7th grader at Burns Middle School and has autism. He had Miss Barnes for two classes this year. I remember meeting her at open house. She was so complimentary of my son and focused on his strong points and not his disability. She was enthusiastic about helping children with their education. She truly loved them and they loved her. She personified Matt 19:14. Although her life was short, she made a huge impact on her students' lives and for that we are grateful. The words in Romans 8:26 may help today as you grieve. We are lifting you up in prayer as you miss her, although we hold onto the truth that we will one day be reunited with her in the presence of the Lord.

Jettrice was an energetic teacher, ready to change the lives of the children at Harrity School, in Philadelphia. Her positive spirit, contagious smile and generous heart touched us all. My prayers go out to the Barnes family. Your sorrows will one day turn into smiles, and your grief will become glorious memories.

To the Barnes Family, I worked with Jettrice at the Harrity Elementary School in Philadelphia, PA. She loved all the students and the students loved Ms. Barnes she was always showing the young ladies how to do their hair or doing their hair for them. What the new fashion statement was. For the young men how to act and carry themselves as gentlemen should carry themselves. She was on a team of three teachers for the Special Education Program, and become the SEL for the team. Ms. Barnes worked hard to make should by June our records were in 100%, and the next school year our team could start the next school year with no problems. She always had a smile and words of encouragement to students, staff, parents or any one she came in contact with. Your daughter was a beautiful, kind, loving, good person. Wishing You God's Peace, When sadness fills our hearts, sometimes we must believe what we can't see. May God show you the way to new hope, peace, and happiness. With Sympathy and last I leave the family of Ms. Barnes with this Bible verse, Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints. Psalm 116:15
