Christopher Allan Robert Anderson, 25, of Bremerton, passed away on February 13, 2011. He was born on February 27, 1985 in Ely, Minnesota to Allan W. and Linda M. (Bridges) Anderson. He attended Green Mountain Elementary and Klahowya Secondary School in Silverdale, graduating in 2003. He then attended Olympic College & Puget Sound Shipyard in 2008 to present as a Marine Mechanic Apprentice. He currently worked at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard – Shop 38 – Marine Mechanics. He was also employed at Russell’s Upholstery, Boy Scouts of America, Chief Seattle Council as a Scoutreach Commissioner, and Hollywood Video. He was a member of Faith Fellowship Church, where he was baptized, Boy Scouts of America volunteer and scout for 18 years(earned Wood Badge Beads), Boys & Girls Club volunteer(Volunteer of the Year 2008). His personal interests & hobbies included being an amazing Uncle to Hunter, teaching & playing with kids, working on cars, upholstery, electronics, boat restoration, wake boarding, snowboarding, & playing pool for Allen’s Billiards for Kitsap County Pool League. He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Zenna & Verdo Bridges (maternal) and John Anderson (paternal). He is survived by his parents, Allan W. & Linda M. (Bridges) Anderson; sister Nicole Anderson and Hunter Hamre (nephew), & brother Casey Anderson. There will be a Celebration of Life at Faith Fellowship Church on Newberry Hill Rd. in Silverdale on February 20 at 2:00pm. An Evening gathering will be held at Allen’s Billiards in Belfair at 7:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that you make memorial donations to Linda Anderson, which will be donated to one of Christopher’s favorite charities, at 37 NE Trudeau Mountain Road, Belfair, WA 98528.
