Bertha (Snyder) Marram, age 92, of Needham, formerly of Wellesley, on Wednesday, February 20, 2013. She was the beloved wife of the late Stanley Marram for 63 years. Cherished mother of Ellen Marram & her husband David Ruttenberg of New York City and Michele Marram & her husband Jeffrey Samet of Needham. Much loved and admired Grandma of Abel, Oren and Ethan Samet-Marram. Dear “Mrs. M.” to Laura Ruttenberg and Andrew and Danielle Most and Robert, Laurie and Jake Ruttenberg. A good woman ~ loving, wise, insightful, a great reader and a friend to all ~ with a wonderful smile. Services at the Levine Chapels, 470 Harvard Street, Brookline, on Thursday, February 21 at 2:00pm followed by interment at the Mohliver Cemetery, Baker Street, West Roxbury. Memorial observance at the home of Michele & Jeffrey Thursday through 8pm, Friday 10am-4pm, Saturday 7-9pm, Sunday & Monday 10am-8pm and continuing at her late residence at Avery Crossings on Tuesday from 10am-8pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hebrew College, 160 Herrick Rd., Newton, 02459 Needham Public Library, 1139 Highland Ave., Needham, 02494 or to the charity of your choice.
