November 16, 1927 – September 29, 2020
Ruth Pauline Arnstein (nee Pollack) died peacefully in her sleep on Monday, September 29, 2020.
Ruth was born in Dorchester, Massachusetts on November 16, 1927 to Max and Gertrude Pollack. She was the youngest of five siblings, Daniel, Marion (Krims), Beatrice (Rudnick), and Leo.
Ruth married Paul Bernard Arnstein in Brookline, Mass. in November,1949 and they had one daughter, Judith Lynn. Ruth is preceded in death by her daughter Judy and her husband Paul.
In 1977, Ruth and Paul moved from Norwood, Mass. to Palm Beach and bought their oceanfront condo at The Patrician. She loved when her family visited her and they could go to dinner at The Banana Boat or Station House and breakfast at Johnny G's or TooJay’s Deli. For both her 80th and 90th birthday, her family and friends all gathered at Café L’Europe for the celebration.
Second to her family, Ruth loved playing Mahjong and canasta, and watching football. She was able to discuss stats and plays with the best of them! She rooted for the Miami Dolphins and the NE Patriots! Tom Brady could do no wrong!
Left to cherish her memory are nieces and nephews: Allan Rudnick, Myrna Kaplan, Diane Rudnick, Betsy Caswell, Joanne Pollack, Susan Pollack, Joseph Krims, and numerous great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews!
