Alvin Thompson, Jr. passed away on May 21, 2015 in Brooklyn, NY. He was born in Brooklyn on February 18, 1937. Alvin also served in the US Marine Corp. He was a Retired Police Sgt. and worked at Coler Hospital, Roosevelt Island for 25 years. Beloved husband of Shashi. Devoted father of Rhobi Cole, Vanessa Thompson, Christopher Alvin Thompson, Anton Thompson, David and Tasha Waite. Loving grandfather and great-grandfather to many. Dear uncle, cousin and friend to many. He will be sorely missed by all. Visiting will be held on Thursday May 28,2015 between 6:00-9:00 pm.With religious service starting at 8:00pm .Interment will be at Calverton National Cemetery ,Friday May 29,2015.Family will be leaving chapel at 10am.
