Evelyn J. Anderson

ANDERSON, Evelyn J., 92 of Spring Hill went to be with her Lord and  Savior on Saturday, April 21, 2012 while at HPH Hospice. Born in Cambridge, OH she moved to Florida in 1974 from Akron, OH. She graduated from McKinley High School and Akron Bible School. She worked many years as an executive secretary before becoming a licensed realtor where she worked for 40 years. She also was active in the Hernando County Board of Realtors, was an owner of 3 ladies apparel stores in Florida for 15 years, volunteered at the Hernando County Public Library Little Red Schoolhouse and was a member of Northcliffe Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband: Charles “Chuck” Anderson; daughter: Diane (George) White of Stow, OH; stepchildren: Andy (Nancy) Anderson of Tampa, FL, Bill (Melanie) Anderson of Norton, OH, Brenda (John) Walker of Clinton, OH; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. A memorial gathering will be held from 6-8m Monday, April 30, 2012 at Northcliffe Baptist Church where a celebration of life service will be conducted at 7pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Akron Bible Church, 783 Brown St., Akron, OH 44311 or Urban Vision, PO Box 1563, Akron, OH 44309-1563.
