Francisco Lerma

On Tuesday, August 4, 2020, Francisco Lerma, Sr., (69), Amazing Husband, Loving Father, Brother, Uncle and Grandfather went home to be with the Lord. He was met at heaven’s gate by his beloved parents, Antonio and Tomasa Lerma, beloved wife Connie Lerma. In addition his beloved brothers and sisters Eliseo Lerma, Gilberto Lerma, Omar Lerma, Rosalinda Lerma, Maria Luz Hernandez and Eduviguez Gonzalez.

Daddy, you always had a heart of gold, showing love to others by your hard work and dedication. You would always find the strength to help when it was needed. You came to our rescue without any hesitation when we called. You will always be a HERO in our hearts. We love you so much!

Francisco was born September 15, 1951, to Antonio and Tomasa Lerma in Brownsville, Texas. He graduated from Brownsville High School in 1968. He worked for the Brownsville Community Health Center for than 10 years. Francisco married Connie, the love of his life, in 1972. Francisco and Connie started a family were blessed with five children.

Francisco is survived by his both sisters Margarita Lerma and Graciela Lerma, his children Francisco Lerma Jr, Nancy Ann Lerma, Vanessa L. Clouston, Jessica Lerma, Ronnie Lerma, Corin Lopez, Marshal Lopez, Jessica Lopez, and Kristin Poswell. He is also survived by his grandchildren Tracey Lerma, Francisco Lerma III, Daniela Lerma, Nathanial Garza, Aubrey Clouston, Addy Clouston, Rion, Rylee, Mia, Everett, Jiselle, Adrial Vivian, and Fabian. He is also was survived by his great granddaughter Rachel Lerma.

He will be remembered as a strong hard-working person who never gave up. There is so much life that our dad has lived. Such an abundance of love, that I am sure, we all have special stories to share. Our dad has left that legacy of love and laughter to us all. With each life that he touched with his compassionate soul, he will continue to live on in all our hearts.
