Alice was my dearest friend growing up at St. Paul Lutheran School in Leavenworth, Kansas. We enjoyed many fun activities together with my parents such as camping. We stayed in touch through the years and I was always interested to hear about her hunting trips. Long ago Alice gave me the honor of being godmother to one of her sons. I know she was a wonderful wife and support for Philip and a terrific mother and grandmother. Her love for her family and particularly for her Savior was evident.
