Bette Raye Marino

Bette Raye Marino, age 87 of Coleman peacefully passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at Holiday Hill Nursing Home. Raye was born February 2, 1932 in Breckenridge, Texas to Raymond Matlock and Ann Offield. She had lived in Massachusetts and Florida before returning home to Texas, the state she loved. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She had great faith in the Lord and found peace reading her Bible daily. Survivors include one brother, Merle Lee Matlock and wife Barbara of Dallas, Texas; three children, Hugh Dennison and wife, Nancy of Summerville, South Carolina, Barbara Dennison of Coleman, Texas and Paul Marino and wife Lisa of Middleton, Massachusetts; five grandchildren, Arland Dennison, Barbara Dennison, Sandra Kennedy, Cynthia Gerome and Kristine Marino; four great grandchildren, Kelsey, Alexis, Braxton and Ashton; 2 nephews, Cooper and Cord and one niece, Mica. She was preceded in death by a daughter Concetta Ann Marino. Services will be held at 2 PM Friday, April 5, 2019 at Davis-Morris Funeral Home in Brownwood.
