Cathey Eve Lamb

July 18, 1962September 2, 2020

Cathey Eve Lingle Lamb, age 58, of Brownwood passed away suddenly Wednesday morning at her home. She was born July 18, 1962 in Amarillo, Texas the daughter of Edwin and Eva Lowe Lingle Jr. She had been a resident of Brownwood since 1997 moving from Stephenville. She retired from 3-M in Brownwood after a long career and later worked in the Sports Department at Wal-Mart. She was a member of Emanuel Chapel United Methodist Church. Cathey loved her family and especially spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her mother, Eva Mae Tatum of Brownwood, her daughter, Carolyn Medina and husband D. J. of Pleasanton, Texas, a son, William Hancock of Poteet, Texas, her daughter, Marilyn Brenham of White Sand, New Mexico, her brother, Edward “Buddy” Lingle III of Stephenville, her grandchildren, Kara Louise Medina and Truitt Jay Medina both of Pleasanton. She is also survived by her great nieces and nephews, Sarah Rush and Jadyn Brown and a great great nephew, Isiah DeLeon. She was also blessed with a special Christian sister, Dorothy Hoffman and special friends, Misti and Jeremy Gillard and a very special cat, “Bunny”. She had many family friends she also considered her family. She was preceded in death by her father Edward Lingle Jr., Step-Father A. J. Tatum, and a brother, Joe David Lingle. She was cremated under the direction of Davis-Morris Funeral Home of Brownwood.

Dear Ms. Cat, Its hard for me to believe you were gone . I know you were in heaven with god now. If you see my mom in heaven, please be friends with her (she died on Sept. 2 .2019 last year).

Cathy was one of a kind. She was very soft-spoken and she had a heart of gold. 3M and Walmart were lucky to have her as an employee. Neither 3M Or Walmart will never find a better person than Cat. God bless her mother Eva. Cat will truly be missed
