She was a founding member of the Vintage Rose Red Hat Society where she served as Queen Mother until her retirement earlier this year. Maxine Keller had the ability to make everyone around her believe they were who she wanted to see the most. She loved everyone and everyone loved her. I liked her hugs and kisses most of all. Every time she hugged me I always told her that she felt and smelled like my dear mother (she went to Heaven in 1995). So when Maxine would see me she would ask if I needed a “mother hug” and I never turned her down.. Yes, this sweet, sweet lady will be missed by many but there are lots of happy souls welcoming her Home. Rest In Peace good and faithful servant...you have earned your place in Heaven many times over. Love you!
