February 7, 1962 – December 2, 2018
Ayn-Martha Joyce, 56, of Jesup, GA passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Southeast Georgia Health System.
“When peace like a river, attendeth my way, When sorrows like sea billows roll, Whatever my lot, thou hast taught me to say, It is well, it is well with my soul.” Ayn-Martha was born on February 7, 1962 in Richmond, VA. She was a member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, Brunswick, the Georgia Federation of Women’s Club, Jesup and volunteer with Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Kind, gentle, and loving were the three most repeated words that were used to describe Ayn-Martha. She was a friend to all she encountered and left you feeling better about the world when you parted company. Ayn-Martha was an example of strength through adversity and grace in the midst of challenges. Everyone that was blessed to call her friend can attest to the fact that she was an example of a faithful servant. We can all celebrate that she is no longer in pain and is whole and perfect resting in God’s loving hands. May we all take her lead in our own lives by welcoming the stranger, showing kindness to everyone, and finding joy in even the simplest aspects of life. It is well with her soul.
She is pre-deceased by father Edward Patrick Joyce.
Survivors include her mother Faith Joyce, brother Mark Joyce, two sisters Julia Joyce Domenick and Margaret Patrum, nephews Collin Joyce and Taylor Domenick and niece, Hannah Joyce.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memoriums may be made to St. Mark’s Episcopal Church Choir Brunswick, Georgia.
Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home has arrangements.

I knew Ms. Joyce through her volunteer work at WMH. She always was smiling. She was very friendly and pleasant to talk with. God bless her family as they lay her to her final resting place.
