A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Crandall officiating.
She was born in Waynesville, GA, January 19, 1929, the second oldest of five children. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Nolan Edward Howard, a brother, Clarence, and grandson David Justin Howard.
She is survived by a son, Michael Alan Howard and his wife Angie, of Brunswick. She is also survived by a daughter, Lori Howard Smith, son-in-law Alan Bartow Smith, and grandson Peter Bartow Smith of Marietta, Georgia; two sisters Hazel McQuaig and Joyce Connor; and a brother Carl Gibson and sister-in-law Jane; a sister-in-law, Lawanna Howard Pafford; and several nieces and nephews.
