Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, September 18 at the Wheelock Cemetery Chapel. Interment will follow in the Wheelock Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 – 7 pm Tuesday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.
Bobby was born December 12, 1937 in Madisonville, the son of John Hewitt and Pauline Jarrott. He and his father were owners of Jarrott’s Pharmacy in Bryan, retiring after many years of service. Bobby had a passion for the outdoors; he loved hunting, fishing, gardening and being on his ranch. He was a long time member of Wheelock Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon. Bobby enjoyed spending time with his family and his love for them and the Lord was evident to all.
Bobby is preceded in death by his parents; and a grandson, Lane Jarrott.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Sally Jarrott; sons and daughters-in-law, Johnny and Pam Jarrott, Billy and Cindy Jarrott; daughters and son-in-law, Jennifer Jarrott, Elizabeth and Will Smith; grandchildren, Leeanne, Zachary, Janette, Kristen, Amanda, Jewel, Jacob and Samuel, Brittany, Lacee, Kristy, Madison; great-grandchildren, Maddie, Brayden, Avery, Blaine, Jessica and Addison; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Henry and Vicki Miller; nieces, Heather and Ashley; and nephew, Brian.
The family would like to thank Merryman Home Health in Franklin and Hospice Brazos Valley for all of the care they gave to Bobby.
