Lavon Edwards

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 17 at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan with The Reverend Deacon Matt Stone officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Cemetery of College Station in the Aggie Field of Honor. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time Saturday at the funeral home.

Lavon was born November 4, 1931 in Houston the daughter of Arlie B. and Mattie (Ortell) Smith. She was a loving wife, mother and sister.

Lavon is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Granville Edwards.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Michael Day Edwards and Kimberly Clary, Patrick Howe Edwards and Mary Farrington; brothers, James Smith and Charles Smith; nephews, nieces and their family, Matt Smith, Charles Phillip Smith, Wanda Kay Smith and Joyce Smith.
