She was beloved wife to Ho Pun for 48 years. She will be deeply missed by her three children Linda Chum, Kaye Kwang (Phyllis) Pun, and Guinevere (Colin) Quan, grandchildren Sharon (Nathan), Shawn, Brandon, Anthea (Mike), and great grandchildren Riley, Zoey and Aaron.
She was born November 1, 1929 in Shunde, Guangdong, China. At age 18, she married Ho Pun and emigrated to South Africa and lived in Pretoria for 21 years while they ran a hardware store. They moved to Johannesburg in 1968 to join the children, who were attending university there. They finally settled in Vancouver, Canada in 1979 to enjoy their retirement years.
She was a devoted, loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her special joy in life was cooking and baking, which she generously shared with all her family and friends. She will be fondly remembered for her warm smile, vibrant personality and generous spirit.
