Nicolino Lucarino

February 15, 1929 – December 10, 2023

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Nick Lucarino, beloved husband, father, nonno, bisnonno and brother. He was born on February 15, 1929 in Civitanova del Sannio, Italy and passed away peacefully at home on December 10, 2023 with his family by his side.

Nick will be forever loved by his wife of 71 years, Maria and greatly missed by his loving children, Tina (Domenic), Joe (Anita), Luisa, Angelo (Trish), adored nephew, Pasquale (Giovanna), cherished grandchildren, Daniella (Anthony), Adam (Kelly), Nicholas (Leanne), Nicole (Chris), Alisha (Rodney), Marco (Brenda), Marisa, Sonia as well as 7 great grandchildren. He also leaves behind his sisters, Michelina (Giovanni) and Maria along with nieces, nephews and friends in Canada and Italy. He is predeceased by his father, Giuseppe, mother, Concettina, and sisters, Giuseppina and Ginetta.

Nick was a dedicated family man and loyal friend who was always there when you needed him. He was a vibrant and thoughtful person who was happiest when he was surrounded by his family and friends telling stories and putting smiles on everyone’s faces. He will never be forgotten and will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 525 Slocan Street, Vancouver. Entombment to follow at the Abbey, Ocean View Burial Park, 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
