While working as a domestic helper and studying business she met the love of her life and best friend, Johan Meijer. They would marry in December of 1987. Creselda and Johan welcomed daughter, Victoria, in 1989 followed shortly by son, Richard, in 1992. Having and raising her two children was the joy of her life.
She will be deeply missed by her husband of 34 years, Johan Meijer, her children Richard Meijer and Victoria Richard, as well as her son-in-law Joshua Richard and her granddaughter Isabel Creselda Richard.
She is survived by her many loved siblings and their partners, her sisters Claire Adawag, Myrna and Salvador Bigtas, Aurora and Eddie Cacdac, and brothers Edgardo Adawag, Noel and Lulu Adawag, Norman and Rose Adawag. and father-in-law Tom Meijer, sister in law, Betty Meijer and Yvonne Meijer as well as countless nieces and nephews and cousins in both the Philippines, the Netherlands, and abroad.

Creselda was well-loved by all who knew her. From neighbors to her many colleagues in The Region of Waterloo, Aecon, AECL, Christie Digital, Russell Farrow, PRG and many others, she spread joy wherever she went. She cared deeply for those closest to her, and wished for nothing but the best for everyone around her. She would not have wanted any of us to be sad for a second, but instead to remember her fondly.
The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital and all Home care staff for their care and compassion.
