Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Stirling Heights Nursing Home in her 74th year. Beloved mother to Rod (Colleen) and Michael Victor MacNeil. Predeceased by her parents Victor and Helen Steele. Maxine is also predeceased by her siblings Maurice, Ethel and Gary. Survived by her sister-in-law Jean Steele and family. Cremation has taken place. Friends and family will be received for a visitation on Monday November 21st, 2011 at 1pm at BARTHEL FUNERAL HOME 566 Queenston Road Cambridge (519 653 3251). Followed by a Memorial Service at 2pm. Inurnment is to take place at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
