With great sadness, his family announces that Andrew passed away peacefully after a long battle with brain cancer, on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Innisfree House, at the age of 43. He was one hell of a fighter!
Loving partner of Courtney Scherer for 12 years. Proud and loving father of Ethan and Cooper. Beloved son of Bob and Liz Grischow. He will also be lovingly remembered by his sisters Danielle (Mike) Murphy and Sacha (Brian) Aide, nieces Julia and Kaylee Murphy, nephews Dylan and Owen Aide, and many other close family and friends.
Andrew was an avid Philadelphia fan, he supported both the Flyers hockey and Eagles football teams. He also enjoyed playing soccer with his sons. They will cherish the memories of him coaching their teams.
The family wish to thank the staff and volunteers of Juravinski Hospital, Cambridge Memorial Hospital, and Innisfree House for their compassionate care.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place.
As expressions of sympathy, donations in Andrew’s memory to Innisfree House or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by his family.
