Emile is survived by his children, Misty (Solomon) and Carly (Bobbi). He is lovingly remembered by his granddaughters, Isobel and Sora, and his grandson, Sloan. He will be deeply missed by his siblings, Debbie, Darlene (Bob), Tracy, Sandy (Grant), Hali (Bud), and Jamie (Jim), his nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father, Emile Sr., and his mother, Frankie.
Emile was born on September 26, 1958 in Ponteix, SK. He spent his life in many different places including Brandon, MB, Edmonton, AB, Victoria, BC, Bermuda, Kelowna, BC, Courtenay, BC, and Tahsis, BC. He was a frequent traveller with an adventurous spirit. As an avid chaser of sun, he visited as many beaches as he could in beautiful places such as Thailand, Costa Rica, Panama, Brazil, and many more. His infectious laugh and keen ability to make friends wherever he went always made it easy for him to go to new places, and his fearlessness made for great stories upon his return. When he wasn’t travelling, golfing, or biking, you could find him watching hockey or cheering on his Seahawks, either at the pub, or at home in his chair. He enjoyed family holidays and family gatherings, big and small.
His mischievous streak and joyful presence will be terribly missed by all who knew him.
