Attended by her daughters, Isabel Jean Dixon (Nee Swetnam) died peacefully on August 3, 2020 in Campbellton, NB at the age of 93 years. Daughter of Reverend W.J.W. Swetnam and Jean MacDonald; beloved wife of Art (2007); loving mother of Carman (Madelaine), Mike (Jenny), Greg (Shelli), Shelley (Dave) and Leslie (Doug); Grandma of Jonathan, Sheena, Stephanie, Curtis, Jane, Ashley, Greg, Philip and Sejer; Great-Grandma of six. She was predeceased by her sister Dorothy Hare and her brother Bill Swetnam.
Isabel was born in Pugwash, Nova Scotia. Art and Isabel raised their family in Nova Scotia, Quebec and New Brunswick. For over 60 years she has called Campbellton her home.
The family expresses heartfelt thanks to the extraordinary staff of the Village Nursing Home whose caring attention eased Isabel's final years.
A service will be held at a later date.
