

Diane Weinberger, of Framingham, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 2, 2025, at 81 years of age. Daughter of George Katseff and Clara Silbert Katseff. Loving wife of David Weinberger of 60 years. Beloved mother of Gary Weinberger and his wife Dara Queen Weinberger and daughter Cheryl Weinberger Betterton and her husband Brian Betterton. Cherished grandmother of Alexandria Nowicki, Nathalie Nowicki and Sarah Weinberger. Sisters Sylvia Katseff Golden and Linda Katseff (Michael Rumery) as well as sisters-in-law Sharon Katseff and Sharon Weinberger and brother-in-law Marc Weinberger. Predeceased by sister Marsha Katseff Ginn, brother David Katseff and brother-in-law Irwin Golden. Diane also leaves behind many loved nieces and nephews.
Diane Weinberger was born in Brookline at The Brookline Hospital. Diane grew up in Dorchester, MA and then moved to Newton, MA where her father owned a record store and gas station. Diane graduated from Newton North High School and then attended Newton Junior College where she met David. Diane and David wed on January 17, 1965, and moved to Framingham, MA.
One of Diane’s passions was gardening and flowers and in her 60s obtained her Massachusetts Master Gardener Certification. Diane was an active member of the Framingham Garden Club for many years enjoying the camaraderie of her fellow gardener enthusiasts. Diane’s other passion was how she expressed her love to many family and friends through her extraordinary cooking and baking. She really enjoyed family and friends congregating to eat her delicious meals and unbelievable baked goods.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Wednesday, March 5th at 1 PM at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton. Burial will follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon.
