On March 5, 2015, Betty went to be with the Lord. She will be happy to be reunited with her husband, Bob, and with family and friends.
Betty lived a long, happy, and fulfilled life. She was a homemaker until her daughters were old enough for her to work outside the home. She worked for two print shops in Canton. In 1973, she and Bob founded Foltz Machine, Inc., where they worked together for the next 20 years.
Early in their married life, Betty and Bob were square dancers. Betty made most of her dresses. They made many friends and had wonderful memories of the time they spent square dancing.
Betty did a lot of sewing for family and friends. Later in life, she and Bob learned how to hang wallpaper. They used that skill in homes they lived in and also hung wallpaper for family and friends. Age caught up to them and they finally had to stop. Betty always said, “Hard work never hurt anyone”.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Bob in 2007. They were just three months shy of their 60th wedding anniversary at the time of his death. She is survived by two daughters, Susan (Cliff) Jones of Canton, and Peggie (Ralph) Schneider of Windsor, CA; also by two grandchildren, Butch (Kathy) Dahler, of Canton, and Coreen (Lee) Wade of Windsor, CA; great-grandchildren, Cede Dahler, Allie Dahler, and McKenna Wade; two sisters, Mary Brubach, and Sandra Cramblett. Preceded in death by brother, Sam Reighard.
There will be no public calling hours or service. A private burial is planned. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the church of your choice, and say a prayer for peace around the world. Arrangements under the direction of Karlo-Libby Funeral Home.
