Barbara Ann Natiello passed away on October 31, 2023, at the age of 82 in Pilot Point, Texas, surrounded by her daughters. Her battle the past year with medical issues showed her courage in facing trials with a smile and a song, all while keeping her focus on her Lord Jesus Christ.
Barbara was born on February 17, 1941, in Van Zandt County, Texas to Eugene and Christeen Fagg. She grew up in Texas, living the majority of her life in Lubbock, Texas. She spent the last year of her life in Pilot Point, Texas, where she met many sweet friends and learned how to trust her Father even more through the final season of her life. Throughout her life, she was a homemaker and Executive Assistant. Barbara enjoyed oil painting, shopping, reading her Bible, good friends and singing. Above all, she loved telling others about her Lord Jesus. She had a very good sense of humor. Barbara had a very hard life, but she still ran her race and finished well, and is now with The One who she loved the most - Jesus. She would want it mentioned now to others that Jesus loves you. He died, was buried, and rose the third day to take the punishment for your sins so you can have eternal life with him and can have a relationship with God. More than anything now, Barbara would urge you to consider this. She is now in her real home, Heaven, and desires this for you also. She loved her family deeply and was extremely loyal. She did not give up, no matter what she was going through, and she did not give up on others.
Barbara’s favorite Bible verse was “I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me. (Philippians 4:13)” and she lived by this verse, she knew where to look for her ultimate source of strength. She loved to sing the song “Gentle Hands” and even when her memory was fading, she remembered it.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Christeen Fagg and her husband Anthony Natiello. She is survived by her brother, Donald Fagg, her daughter Jennifer Taylor of Texas, son Kenneth Flake of Texas, son David Flake of Texas, and daughter Alyssa Natiello of California, along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, friends and family.
Graveside service will be at Eubank Funeral Home, Canton, Texas, on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at 2:00pm.
