Benny Ray Cutright, 87, of Flint, TX, passed away on January 19, 2021 in Dallas, TX., due to natural causes. He was born in Vowells Mill, Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana to James Daniel Cutright and Lydia Cutright.
Benny grew up with his sisters Attaire Anders, Catherine Camplen, and Dorothy Sims. The day after his high school graduation he enlisted into the Army where he met his lifelong friend James Hubbard. Through his friend, he met his wife of fifty years, Patricia Cutright. Both of whom he is preceded in death. Benny retired from American Airlines as a supervisor, and soon opened his own auto mechanic business. His other passions included golf, baseball and traveling.
He is survived by his daughter, Pamela Johnson: sons, David Cutright and Jerry Cutright; significant other, Phyllis Thornton; nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Richard Cutright, Joseph Reed, Robert Cutright, Michael Rodriguez, Alexander Rodriguez, and Mason Chambers.
The funeral service will be held at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 10:00am. There will be a viewing at the same location and day beginning at 9:00am. His family will be present to welcome loved ones.
Interment will be held at Cana Cemetery, Van Zandt County, TX.
