Aunt Yuvonne reminded me so much of Grandmother Rasco. Dignified is how I would describe her.

The memory that sticks most in my mind happened one summer - I couldn’t have been more than 8 or 9 years old - I was visiting Sharon for a few days. Aunt Yuvonne made donuts from scratch - I was amazed and thrilled! Those were the best donuts I had ever tasted!

Then I saw her just a couple of years ago. She and I had never been really close but she seemed genuinely happy to see me. I remember the kindness in her eyes. She was a little more tired and moved a little more slowly than what I remembered, but she was still dignified.

Rest In Peace, Aunt Yuvonne. I’ll see you again.

Pastor and Sister Munns were a safe harbor for me and my children in the 70’s. They nurtured our faith, prayed for us and wrapped their arms around us as we went thru devastating times. Thank you for your Godly lives and your abiding love. I have no doubt they will receive a great reward from the Father. May the Peace of Christ Jesus strengthen and nourish you as you mourn this saintly couple!

Sharon & family, I remember your Mom's smile (it always seemed she had one) the wonderful things she cooked. Oh, the cakes and baked items especially. I still have the recipes that she was gracious enough to share with me. And her beautiful crocheting. I remember commenting on the beautiful ornaments she had made and low and behold she made me a set that year for Christmas. I think of her every time I put them on my tree.

Your parents were a perfect example of what a marriage should be and I know that they are rejoicing being back together.

What a blessing to have known Sis. Munns! She was always so gracious and giving as part of Women's Ministries. She and Pastor Munns opened the doors to us for so many events, setting such a great example of how to do it God's way. I'm thankful she was part of my life.
