OBITUARY
Hilda Gladys Medina
November 18, 1931 – January 6, 2021
On Wednesday morning at 8:00 a.m. Hilda Gladys Medina passed away peacefully at home with her daughters at her side. She is survived by her daughters Ileana Medina of Fort Myers, Fl, and Alina Medina-Garry (Ronald Lucien Garry, Sr.) of Gloucester, MA. Granddmother to Jordan Pastor Garry and Alya June Staber both residing in Salem, MA. Hilda also leaves behind her sister, Nancy Perla Morin, of Miami, Fl, her great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews. Born in 1931 in Havana, Cuba. Hilda was the daughter of Colonel Enrique Leopoldo Perez Coujil and Maria Virginia Aliaga O”Halloran. She, with her husband Pastor Medina, and daughters Alina and Ileana, emigrated to the USA in January of 1962, settled their family in Massachusetts, and later retired to Fort Myers, Florida.
She was loved and admired by all who came in contact with her sweet disposition and strong values. Her life as a gift a to us. Hilda served as an Eucharistic Counselor Cursillo Group at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Cape Coral, FL. Funeral Services will be celebrated at 12:00 noon on Friday January 15th at Coral Ridge Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:00am. The Rite of Committal with entombment will follow the funeral services.
