Rose I. Courtney, age 91, of Fort Myers, Florida passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024. Rose was born March 30, 1932 to Gelard Masino and Irene C. Humphrey Masino, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Mack H. Courtney on 11/8/1990; son, David Wayne Courtney on 12/10/2022; and sister, Geraldine Murphy on 7/14/2023. Rose is survived by her sons, James Courtney and Mark Courtney; daughter, Sharon (Greg) Pike; grandchildren, Rachel (Ben) Meyer, Desiree Courtney, Danielle (Victor) Castro, Tyler Courtney and Brandon Courtney; great grandchildren, Anthony Ayva, Jayson, Ivan and Aziel Castro and Lilliana and Elijah Courtney; sister, Filomena "Fifi" Holdren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
