Nora Ybarra Segura was born on September 9, 1921, in San Antonio, Texas, to parents Bernadina Botello-Garcia and Magdeleno Ybarra. Nora passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2017, in Garland, Texas. She was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. She married the love of her life, Richard C. Segura on September 26, 1948, in San Antonio. They moved to Garland, Texas in June of 1968. Nora and Richard had one daughter, Olivia Segura. Nora was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and brothers, Lorenzo and Clemente Ybarra. She had one living sister, Ana Ramos Ontiveros and her brother-in-law, Frank Ontiveros. She had three grandsons, Joe E. Zapata, Jr, (Shanna Goodwin-Zapata, wife), Michael A. Perez, and Mason R. Gregory. She also had three great-grandsons, Brandon J. Jones, Zachary V. Connor, and Joe E. Zapata, III. She enjoyed watering her yard, drinking a cold brew in the evening, and dancing with her “Richard”.
