Gary Lamar Bradley age 78 of Cartersville, GA passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2023 following a brief illness. Gary was born on November 4, 1944 to Joseph E. Bradley and Dorothy C. (Ross) Bradley. He was a lifelong resident of Cartersville.
Gary loved all things outdoors, especially fishing. His favorite days was spent on Lake Allatoona bass fishing with his son Jeff, grandsons Kyle and Johnathan, son-in-law Johnny, and his favorite fishing buddy, his granddaughter Nicole. He enjoyed all of nature that God created. He enjoyed camping, trout fishing, and just sitting by the campfire relaxing. He cherished every moment spent with Emily, Kyle, Nicole, Ashley, Johnathan, Ellie, Harper, Karter Wren, and Rosie. He was a quiet man with a big heart, and will be missed by all who knew him and loved him.
Gary retired from Shaw Industries in 2019. He previously worked for the David Joseph Company for over 25 years.
Mr. Bradley is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Dorothy Bradley, and his sisters, Jo Morrow, and Shelba Chastain.
Left to cherish his memory is his son, Jeff Bradley of Cartersville, daughter, Deidre (Johnny) Holden of Dallas. Grandchildren, Emily (Brian) Doxey, Kyle (Chloe) Bradley, Nicole Bradley, Ashley (Adam) Dodd, Johnathan (Candice) Holden. The loves of his life, his great-granddaughters, Ellie Holden, Harper Dodd, Karter Wren Holden and Rosalie Doxey.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2023 from 12:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. at Center Baptist Church, 80 Old McKaskey Creek Rd. SE Cartersville. Funeral immediately following visitation at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Ricky Bryant officiating. Graveside in the church cemetery following service.
Pallbearers will include Kyle Bradley, Johnathan Holden, Brian Doxey, Adam Dodd, Mike Darnell, and Dylan Sanborn.
