Ginger Payton Figueroa, 73, of Euharlee, GA passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2019. Ginger was Born February 24, 1946 in Ether, NC to the late Mr. Mason Needham and Mrs. Mildred Freeman Needham.
Ginger was a devout Christian. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Julio Figueroa. She loved taking care of those who needed her using her great sense of humor. She thoroughly enjoyed "The Red Hatties" with the rest of her friends. Ginger loved her dog, Baby who preceded her in death. She worked as a sitter after retirement, at the Fite House and was loved by all she worked with.
Ginger is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Nancy Spurier and brother, Pete Needham.
She is survived by her loving husband, Julio Figueroa, and sister, Cecilia Vulcannon. Several nieces and a nephew as well as many dear friends survive to cherish Ginger's memory.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at Euharlee Baptist Church on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at two thirty in the afternoon with the Rev. Bradley Baker officiating. She will lie in state at the church from one thirty until the service hour. Serving as pallbearers will be: Steve Worthington, Judd Mobbs, Jim Bruce, Gary Rogers, and Joel Layton. Serving as an honorary pallbearer will be Larry Sarge. Interment will follow the service at Sunset Memory Gardens, Cartersville.
The family will receive friends at Owen Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 from six o'clock in the evening until eight.

I will miss you so much, Ginger. I will never be able to repay you for all of the love that you have given to my family, even through the hardest times.
