He was born in Ohio on June 12, 1956 and grew up there. Bob attended Youngstown State University and NC Wesleyn College. Bob was an accountant for Arby’s while living in Ohio and accountant for Nortel Networks for 25 years and Spratt Financial in North Carolina. Most recently, as the manager of the business office for Network Development Group, Bob was known for looking out for his co-workers. He took pride in handling the financial details, allowing his colleagues to remain mission-focused. He was always encouraging and quick with a joke or a fun story to give everyone joy. He was an awesome co-worker that will be missed for his work and friendship. While it was Bob’s knowledge, experience and prompt attention to detail that made him invaluable to his colleagues and NDG, it was his kindness, generosity and humor that his peers will remember him for most.
Bob was the type of guy that would do anything for anyone. He was always helping people with whatever they needed from helping fix their car to giving them the last dollar in his wallet. Rene was always careful to not tell him what she liked or thought she needed because the next day he would go and get it for her. He had a very giving and kind heart. He so enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved sitting on the deck talking with his oldest son Taylor about everything. He also loved watching his son Drew play baseball with the Miracle League of the Triangle.
In 1982 Bob and his wife Rene moved to North Carolina and started their family. Bob leaves his wife Rene (Kostur) Morrison. They were married for 43 years. Bob and Rene met in college and fell in love. They married 2 years later and moved to Cary, NC to start their new life. Bob is also survived by two children Taylor and Andrew (Drew). Bob is preceded in death by his Father Ed Morrison. He is survived by his mother Carol Morrison of Virginia, his Sister Roxanna Crowe and her husband Tom of Ohio, and his Brother Bryan also of Ohio. His sister-in-law Linda Aubel (North Carolina), nieces and nephews: Doug Aubel (Sarah) (VA), Kate Ewing (NC), Greg Aubel (Karen) (PA), Meghan Aubel (Jess) (NC), Monique Bennett (OH), Rebecca Bartha (OH) and many great nieces and nephews.
