Carlos Fabian Mendoza - Larrea

Carlos Fabian Mendoza-Larrea was born on August 18, 1972 in Hackensack, New Jersey to Carlos Sr. and Yolanda Mendoza. He is the oldest of three siblings and the only son. He is also known as “Carlitos” to the many who knew and loved him. He loved his family, friends, and neighbors and never hesitated to talk to a stranger. Loving, sensitive, genuine, silly, and kind in nature; he was the type of person you don’t easily forget.

A professional painter by trade with over 30 years of experience in commercial and residential painting, his career allowed him to contribute to his community greatly in the Central Florida area and abroad. His talents allowed him to make everything around him prettier one brush stroke at a time. He took great pride in his work, perfected his craft to a T, and it showed in everything he touched.

Carlos was a son, brother, father, uncle, nephew, cousin, recent grandfather, and a great friend. In the last year, he was working intensely towards a better future for himself. He had recently moved into a new home that he and his father, Carlos Sr. worked together to renovate. Becoming a homeowner was a life-time goal he had finally accomplished and one that he along with his family was very proud of.

Carlos undoubtedly left his mark on this Earth. We will carry his big, beautiful smile in our hearts and in our minds, and try to fill his absence with all the happy memories he leaves behind…There are many and we are grateful for his life.
