I just learned of Carrie’s passing and wanted to let her family know I was thinking of them. Carrie was one of the best! I’ll never forget the commitment and support she showed to all of us as young kids every summer growing up during baseball season. Not only would she drive Riley all the way to Brush, but would always be the reliable one to take me and whoever else needed a ride to an out of town game, not to mention having to get us there an hour early. Always making for a long summer day for her. The long car rides, Riley sitting shotgun (sometimes upset about his performance at the plate), countless hours at the baseball field and all the memories we shared in that white Honda Accord I will cherish forever. Carrie you will be missed! Randy, Riley, Sarah and family, so very sorry for your loss! Carrie will be greatly missed by all.

Carrie was a sweet and amazing lady, and we feel privileged to have known her. We will remember all the good times sitting on the bleachers at baseball games, and her hard work and dedication at the office / carwash!
Sending hugs and prayers to Randy, Riley, Sara, and families,

My Sister and best friend will always be in my heart and memory. I will miss her terribly. I was in awe of Carrie. She is everything you want to be. She was positive, unselfish, loving, and she passed these traits on to her children. She was such a hard worker, from raising her children, taking care of Randy, to pulling calves. I was warmed by her presence and radiant love. She made me feel worthy and special. She was a fighter and never complained. She would say "Oh for Pete's sake, I am just fine". I want to give my gratitude to Randy, Sara, Riley and Bree for their constant love and care for my Sister. I love Carrie so very much, and I thank God for giving me such a wonderful Sister!

Dear Family of Carrie,
First off, what a beautiful family you are! Your Memorial for Carrie was so lovely and heartfelt. You had said she didn’t want anything, but she would be most proud of you and the service, I have no doubt. It gave many of us an opportunity to know her better.
My husband, Jeff and I knew Carrie through Dr. Sugiyama’s office. We both always marvelled at how she remembered us and remembered personal conversations we had had from the visit 6 months prior! She always made us feel like old friends.
She was a truly beautiful woman, inside and out, and a bright light of your family gone far too soon. I can’t help but think of her often and the difference she made in this world. I will keep your family in my prayers for a long time to come. I know memories of her will become sweeter with time, but you will never be the same. That’s an impossible thing to expect, in my humble opinion. Anyway...Carrie was one of a kind. We feel blessed to have known her.

XOXO Barb Harbach
